Rambutan (School Boy)

Rambutan is the most popular fruit of Southeast Asia. The fruits of rambutan are red to yellow in colour with long hair-like structures, and the edible portion is translucent and juicy.Rambutan grows well in warm tropical climate.
School Boy variety is most popular in Malaysia and is also called ‘Anak Sekolah. It is easy to identify this variety which was first discovered in a school compound in Penang. The fruits are deep red with green hairs and are juicy and sweet.
