Jackfruit “The poor man’s food”, a potent storehouse of highly active nutrients, the largest edible fruit in the world. It is a large, evergreen tree, 10-15m (26–82 ft) in height, having a dense irregular globose crown. It is native to tropical Asia, especially originated from the rainforests of the Western Ghats of India.
