Description

Rambutan also called “Hairy lychee” trees are evergreen with a roundish-bushy appearance, growing to a maximum height of 30 m. The variety is named N-18 as 18 fruits weigh 1 kg.The rambutan is native to the Indonesia and other regions of tropical Southeast Asia. In India, rambutan cultivation is limited to some parts of Southern states like Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
