Jackfruit Mankale Red

Mankali Red is native to a place called mankale, Sagara of Karnataka. It is famously called as Chandra bakke in malnad region. The fruit is red in colour and weighs 10-20kgs. The tree requires min 40ft spacing. The fruit has thin outer skin ans the flesh is crispy, thick and extremely sweet. The percentage of edible partof the fruit is more with min wastage.
